Well I am finally done my cleanse - as of Saturday I guess...woohoo!!!! though, I'm still trying to cut back on the sugar, and dairy as an experiment - not so fun! but hey, maybe it will work, and I do have a "sensitivity" to sugar or dairy.
hmm, well last week was ok i suppose, though I can't stand all the arts courses i am taking - too much reading and memorizing - i just can't take it!!!! And sadly my "favorite" class is either anatomy (which is also a ton of memorizing), or stats, just cuz it is super easy....not to mention the very nice looking boy in that class.....*grins* however, b4 he can be pursued my face must get cleared up!!!! grrrr i am getting so fed up with this!!!!!!
So, saturday i went to west ed w/ some girls from my floor which was a blast, though i didn't end up buying what i really NEEDED, which is jeans, but i did buy the cutest pink button up sweater from suzy shier, for 20 bucks, which i figured was pretty impressive. And of course, the real reason for the trip was to see Love Actually again and visit the most heavenly place on earth - death by chocolate :) soooo sooo good - if you are ever in edmonton you must go!!! Love Actually is probably my new favorite movie.....such a happy feel good, amazing film....and the hot british men are a definete bonus!!!!! And man oh man - the quotes in that movie (thou most I can't actually quote due to launguage...but hey, you can still get the point right?) "Where the f*** is my f***ing jacket?!!!?" and my personal favorite "Lets go get the s**t kicked out of us by love." oh man...so good, definetly a movie I will have to buy! (which never happens!)
And the other highlight of the week would be American Idol...i hadn't watched the 1st 2 seasons, so i had no idea how mean Simon was, though sooo funny when he is so blunt with everyone...geez some of them i feel so bad for, and yet can't help laughing....brings back memories of the grad video though....and colin's keith impression! geez....sometimes i miss high school so much - though from what ive heard the whole part a and b to ALL diplomas isn't so hot!
Thats all for now, I'll be home this weekend, unless there is a horrible snowstorm, thou i have a midterm on next tues (Crazy prof!!!!!), so i will need to do some studying for that. Catch you on the flip side (though ive never really understood that expression)

Ahhhhh....Death by chocolate is definetely death when you can't eat chocolate......
So....I'm on this cleasing diet for 12 days, and i should clarify - diet not to lose weight, but to cleanse my body - ie liver, blood, intestines etc. basically: no sugar, no flour, no yeast, no dairy, no processed food.....so no peanut butter(they have yeasts and molds), no pasta, no bread, and get this - only one fruit a day b/c of the (natural) sugar content. so yeah....I've made it 8 days, so saturday will be a day of chocolate, bread and pasta - you have no idea how dependent people are on bread, and kaits - i have new respect for your not being able to eat wheat...though rice cakes are a life saver!!!!!! So basically I have been eating rice cakes w/ almond butter (which is actually pretty good), lots of veggies and rice, chicken, fish, more veggies, more rice, potatoes once i found out i was allowed, and i also had popcorn, though i'm not sure if that was "illegal" or not....oops!
so the death by chocolate bit: this weekend we (people on my floor) went to west ed for this girl on my floors bday. on the day of the craziest weather ever....so you heard it snowed in victoria-well it rained in edmonton....such a shock! there is still a coating of ice on everything....but i digress. so we bus it over to the mall....so slow cuz the roads aren't that great. and kinda wander aimlessly for a bit...and then - NO LAUGHING ALLOWED, went to see Chasing Liberty....SOOO GOOD!!! and man oh man - Matthew Goode - sooo hot....mmmmm british accent. and the things he said to her in the movie - so cute... i swear if any guy said anything remotely close to that i'd be done.....just done, i would melt right there...actually id prolly cry but you get the point. then we went to the food court for dinner....mmmm salad (note the sarcasm....grrr), and then of course Death by Chocolate....the best place in west ed, and the only thing i could have was herbal tea.....*grumble* and to boot i was surrounded by mouthwatering chocolate sights and smells......:( and that is why i am going there on next sat. to make up for it. muahaha...so much for the cleanse....
Oh, then we came back (we were going to go out to a bar, but then figured drunk people trying to walk back on slippery sidewalks = not such a good plan.) horray for themed drinking - though i couldn't...alcohol isn't allowed either, but we watched pirates of the carribean, and they drank rum and did tequila shots.
Oh, and i'm thinking i might layer my hair like mandy moore's....only less bangs-any thoughts??????
thats it for now.....really should start focusing on school again

Thank goodness for wonderful, understanding etc etc people. So I go to bed at 11pm last night (I have NEVER been to bed b4 12 since i've been here), all set to be awake for my stats lab at 8 am (My alarm was set for 6:50am). So I wake up at 4 and had to "race like a piss horse" (not that you really needed to know that), and then go back to bed. then majically wake up and am like...whoa what time is it? except my alarm clock is nowhere to be found. Check my other clock...840 I'm like !@^*^#$&*&$@! and throw on pants and a sweater in record time. I boot it over to CAB where my lab is, and make it there b4 9. SO i get to the room, and its totally empty except for this girl at the front, and a guy somewhere in the back....i'm thinking oh dear, I missed the whole thing, but at the same time, thank goodness, it must have been pretty short. turns out the girl at the front is my TA and shes super nice, and quickly goes over what she went over for the lab. ANd there you have it - why i am thankful for wonderful understanding people.
