finally an update...though no promises on anything meaningful - though what else is new
so, back home in calgary...good times
yeah...definely (go spelling!!) just going to be an update and nothing more.
So i worked 2 weeks at the printint shop that i worked at last summer when i wasn't at camp. that was a total blast (please not the sarcasm)...though the paycheck was pretty good :)
Anyway, then i started working at Annies bakery which i absolutely love:) - its a total blast, except for the gophers that sneak in and freak us out! and actually pretty slack, cuz its not to busy right now. mmmm, yummy food :) plus i ride my bike there and back (7km in 20 minutes - one way)
I also took my nls (lifeguarding), and passed...so now i can save all of you if you dive in the shallow end and get a spinal injury...though i hope none of you are that dumb!!
what else??? oh i went to see the passion last week (????)...i sure wish i knew more of the bible...like i knew basically what was going on, but half the ppl i had no idea who they were(name wise anyway).
I also went to the beav/manning jazz night at quincy's...the famous guy ("heavy"...as sacman calls him) was absolutely amazing...seriously i'm just completely in awe of his bass playing...wow
I also realized that night, and other conversations with other friends later, just how naive i am when it comes to alcohol...i have never been drunk to the best of my knowledge, though its not like i know what it would feel like anyway. this girl i was talking to the 1st time was going on about how she can't handle hard alcohol etc etc, and i was kinda just nodding my head, pretending i knew what she was talking about, when really i had not a clue. ANd branching off of that i sure don't feel 18...and that i'm done one year of university, with a 3.7 overall gpa (OH YEAH!!!)...i swear time is going like twice as fast as it used to...geez
and on a closing note...i swear this is going to be a "my best friend's wedding" kinda realtionship...make of that what you will
