no more exams!!!
...well for a few weeks anyway!
so yesterday i was walking back to rez for lunch after my psych. midterms, and i notice this trail of blood on the floor from CAB, across Quad, to the students union building (where someone was mopping it up)...i was like...ok thats kinda weird, cuz there was a whole lot more blood than if it was just a nose bleed. so it turns out some guy was studying in Cameron library (its attached to CAB), and these 3 guys came up, confronted him, and the guy ended up getting stabbed in the neck a couple times. Then he decided to run all the way to campus 5-0 in the SU building...must not have been thinking to clearly b/c running is going to ur blood pump faster, so he prolly lost a lot more blood than he would have if he had just stayed put and waited for an ambulance there...kinda scary though, and in a library of all places, seriously...so many more witnesses to it - i just don't understand people (like why feel the need to stab the guy in the first place???) *exasperated sigh*
hmmm, other than that, not too much excitement...i might be having my 2nd club/pub experience on thursday if all works out...and we still must have a calgary tequila night when i get home!!!
oh, have any of you U of C people heard anything about student summer painting jobs (or any other summer jobs for that matter?) cuz i need to find something to do for May and June, and then I am hopefully working at camp in July and August
though i don't think anyone has heard anything back about that yet.
Dinner time...yay...oh yeah, caf food - never mind. Kristen and Jacqui - you have my "room-mate" sympathies, though i haven't had to actually have one, just being in rez gives me the gist of it. Arg.....well i'm on the topic of rez, there is this stupid materials receiving place (something that im guessing involves alot of NOISY machinery) that decided to do their work from 1130 to 1230 at night when i am trying to get to sleep. Last night i was ready to go outside over there and find out what it was...it sounds kinda like a garbage truck...only continuously for an hour when i'm trying to sleep....geez..........SHUT UP ALREADY!!!!!!!
