I figured I was due to update this...
and hey, if it means i don't have to start learning physiology (eek!) thats all that matters!
I think this will be pretty long, so here goes...
So I got up here to good ol' Deadmonton on the 4th and moved into my new place, which i must say was kinda a challenge. I'm living basically in an apartment, but it is still student housing. Its soooo awesome, though it is kinda a shock to have to clean the bathroom, do dishes after pretty much every meal (or they really start to build up - yuck!), and actually cook for myself. I have really good roommates though, which helps alot. So after my parents moved me in, they headed back to Calgary (ah home sweet home), and left one of the cars up here for me for the weekend. (It took 2 cars to move all my stuff, not including the bed, but i'll get to that later). So, saturday night, instead of partying it up like we should have lauren and i went grocery shopping at superstore. It actually ended up being really fun, though I"m not the biggest fan of driving in edmonton.
I drove back to Calgary Monday afternoon to return the car, and I had a derm appt on tues. Tuesday afternoon my mom drove me back up, with the tail end of my stuff (textbooks to sell, a vaccuum etc.). Classes started wed morning, physiology should be good, but alot of stress/memorizing...hot guy from my chem class is in it (*grins*), and a bunch of ppl from my floor in res last year. I have a feeling stats is going to be kinda boring, but pretty easy (*crosses fingers*), and i'm also taking a 1st year bio class...which was sooo brutal cuz the prof kept going on about all this stuff for the 1st years to know...which i found out last year (kinda a waste of time, but anyway). I'm really excited about developmental psych - it should be really interesting, but the prof has all these power point notes, and i hate printing them off...ink is to freaking expensive!!! Math is going to be awesome...(yes i am a geek), and hopefully super easy, though i have forgotten soo much from last year!
ok, so i'm sure you're as sick of hearing about classes as I am writing about them, but really not much else exciting has happened sadly...though i "splurged" and bought a DVD player for our place...and hey, it was only 50 bucks (yeah superstore).
Oh, and I am playing in the concert band here again, which should be fun, except we got a new conductor...this woman, who is kinda crazy, but she has a passion for music, and i guess thats the important thing.
One final thing...if ANYONE wants to come up to edmonton to see yellowcard w/ me on Sat, Oct 23 (though thats prolly right b4 midterms) please let me know...tickets are 22.50 I think.
thats it for now...hopefully the next post will be more exciting!
