stupid edmonton journal...
GAH!!!
really pissed off right now. We had a canvasser type guy come to our apartment to see if we wanted to get the journal (this promotional offer type thing - we had it last term with no trouble), and so we agreed to it. We got our paper 1st for about 3 weeks, and then last monday i got this letter saying that we hadn't paid, and so we had 8 days, or they would stop delivering the paper. So i called to complain, b/c we paid the canvasser dude we he came to our door.(Though in cash mind you, so maybe he pocketed it or something - who knows - but he gave me a reciept saying i had paid, so i figured we'd have no trouble). They said that they may not have received the payment yet, and that they would check on it for me and get back to me. I didn't get a call back, so I phoned again today, and the guy that i talked to basically implied that we may have been scammed, which pisses the hell out of me. He suggested i fax them in the reciept that i have...but thats kinda difficult if i have no access to a fax machine.
What i can't figure out is how they know to deliver the paper to us, if they haven't received any record of us paying, and i'm assuming they didn't get any kind of reciept at all either. The whole situation is driving me nuts...on top of all my other stress i have to deal with this too which sucks bum. Why did it all have to come down when midterms are starting, and I have a lab report due?

on a happier note the girls are coming to visit this weekend!!! I'm soo stoked, and its marnie's bday too --->20...yikes thats old
