Don't let this mean old world get you down...

I was listening to the vinyl cafe yesterday morning, and I really forgot how much I liked it. It really gives you the sense that there are still good people in the world that are caring and compassionate, and don't always think of themselves first. Stuart McLean (the host) was talking about how he had accidently called a wrong number and ended up talking to this 15 year old boy who's parents were seperating. He replayed the conversation and I honestly had to sit down and listen to it. This 15 year old was wise beyond his years, and was unbelievable at vocalizing what he was feeling. It turned out that many of the listeners wrote to this boy explaining how they felt for him, or they had experienced similar things. He said something amazing - that he felt sad because there were other people who had to go through the same thing he was going through. I just couldn't believe this was coming from a 15 year old. Stuart ended up playing this song for him - Don't let this mean old world get you down by Andre Ethier, and i highly recommend you listen to it, and the rest of his stuff.
